This place has really nice decor and the staff are super helpful, especially with the valet parking. the building is cozy and located right in the city center 🏙️. You won't go hungry with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Our king room was reasonably priced and air-conditioned, had lake view. The bed was big, we liked it and slept well.

i was upgraded to nicely furnished and well-appointed queen room with a view. it was in a beautiful location next to stores, the lake, simple and classic luxury of the building and common areas and the train stations and the bus stations.

Great decor here, with super friendly and helpful staff. You're in a prime spot, just a quick stroll away from a stunning cathedral and a cool opera house! 🌟

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel with lovely views. Many would classify it as a 5 star in terms of comfort.

very central location not far from amenities- shops as well as the bus stations, and bars and restaurants are close to the hotel. i'm glad that getting wheelchair accessible room with twin beds, tv, a beautiful view was not a problem.

i got a very nice room at the top floor with balcony and the beautiful lake view....location is great to explore Lausanne, and quite close to the railway station (but not really walking distance)...the waiter who served diiner at the restauran was very kind and friendly...

no bathrobe and no slippers...for the prices they charge for the rooms, this should not be the issue at all!!! breakfast could be improved!

I thought the lobby and reception staff could have greeted us in a warmer fashion by actually saying "welcome" to Lausanne or to "Hotel de la Paix Lausanne" as if they were glad we were there. Maybe it is my own preference in terms of visiting new places! The only thing I would change is the lack of any music in the room except for the television access price. (A bit steep for some peaceful music while gazing out the window at the lake!)

The staff at the reception desk is exceptional and incredibly welcoming. Make sure you stay in the guest room with a view of the mountain.- The location is very central, within walking distance from a cathedral and an opera house.- There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance from the hotel.

I had many times previously stayed at this hotel, expecting to have the same pleasant experience as in the past, I went ahead and booked my room, but upon arriving I was surprisingly disapointed.I had asked for a non smoking room, and upon entering the room there was a stale odour of smoking in the room, called the reception and they asked me to open the windows. Having done that, I later realised that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Again I called the reception and they sent some one to fix it, and they said that it is now working. After about four hours, when I returned to the room, the horrible smell of cigarette was still there and still the airconditioning was not working. Eventually I ended up in another room with no balcony, two floors above, and through out the night I could hear peaple talking loudly when passing by my room, and there was a lot of people coming in or going out of the elevator, ( my room was facing the elevator ) To top it all up the sink in the bathroom was blocked, but I didn't even want to tell reception, because I myself couldn't believe how many things had gone wrong, and it felt like I was constantly nagging & trying to find faults. So all in all I had a nasty experience.
